WOMEN'S BOOK STUDY
The Christ Anglican Fellowship Women’s Study Group has begun a twelve week look at the Sermon on the Mount, found in the Gospel of Matthew, chapters 5-7. The study is on Tuesdays through May 1st from 10am to noon. There is minimal preparation required each week and no books are needed other than your Bible. Contact Lesley for more info: (540) 948-9029 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
SUNDAY MORNING MINISTRIES
Everyone is needed to serve on Sunday mornings: readers, greeters, lay Eucharistic ministers, prayer teams, nursery helpers, musicians, set-up, and cleanup. Share the joy of ministry. Let Deborah, Ed, or Jim know how you can help.
Each month the men of the church get together for breakfast at 8:00am at Country Cookin for food, fun, and fellowship. It's a guy thing but everybody is welcome to join in, ladies too. Our next breakfast will be May 19th.
For April, Love outreach Food Pantry is asking for donations of soap and hamburger helper. Bring your items to church and place them in the blue plastic bin. Of course any other non-perishables are always most welcome.
Registration has begun for this year’s Women’s Retreat, Saturday, May 26, 9:30am - 3:30pm, at Rounton Farm. Space is limited so register soon. The speaker is teacher and artist Betsey Mulloy. The theme is “God’s One and Only You.” The cost is $40, and scholarships are available. Contact Anne Beavers for more information.
BABY SHOWER AND LUNCHEON
Help celebrate the arrival of Maria and Joey's baby boy, their first child, following our quarterly fellowship covered dish luncheon on April 29th. For questions about the shower, contact Mandy Alexander, email@example.com . To find out what you can bring for our covered dish lunch, contact Kathy Brebner at firstname.lastname@example.org, or phone her at (843) 516-1639.
Two Prayer Meetings are now available: The Center (Orange), Wednesdays, 7pm and West of 29 at Lesley’s on Mondays, 4pm. Find or start a prayer meeting to join with others in praying for local, regional, and national revival. For more information: (540) 672-8331.
If you need prayer for an illness in the family or other concern, please call (540) 672-8331 and Jim or Deborah will be happy to pray for you. With your permission, your request can be passed confidentially to the church's intercessors for additional and ongoing prayer.
